About SolveMeSenpai
The math solver that started as a 2021 side project, got forgotten, and came back with a vengeance.
The Story
SolveMeSenpai was first built in 2021. It could read math problems from images, parse equations, and attempt to solve them. It was scrappy, it worked (mostly), and then — like many side projects — it was quietly shelved and forgotten.
Fast forward to now. The urge to rebuild struck, and this time the goal was clear: make it the best version possible.
The original implementation had rough edges — the solving pipeline wasn't great, the UX was clunky, and it couldn't handle the variety of problems we wanted. But with current tools — a robust SymPy-powered backend, AI-assisted natural language parsing, and a properly architected API — we can build something truly powerful.
The vision is simple: everyone and anyone should be able to solve almost anything that is mathematically possible. Whether you're a student checking homework, a professional verifying calculations, or just curious — SolveMeSenpai should feel effortless.
