SolveMeSenpai

About SolveMeSenpai

The math solver that started as a 2021 side project, got forgotten, and came back with a vengeance.

The Story

SolveMeSenpai was first built in 2021. It could read math problems from images, parse equations, and attempt to solve them. It was scrappy, it worked (mostly), and then — like many side projects — it was quietly shelved and forgotten.

Fast forward to now. The urge to rebuild struck, and this time the goal was clear: make it the best version possible.

The original implementation had rough edges — the solving pipeline wasn't great, the UX was clunky, and it couldn't handle the variety of problems we wanted. But with current tools — a robust SymPy-powered backend, AI-assisted natural language parsing, and a properly architected API — we can build something truly powerful.

The vision is simple: everyone and anyone should be able to solve almost anything that is mathematically possible. Whether you're a student checking homework, a professional verifying calculations, or just curious — SolveMeSenpai should feel effortless.

How You Can Use It

Multiple ways to interact — pick whatever feels natural to you.

Professional Mode

Type in SymPy notation for precise control. The fast, local parser handles equations, calculus, matrices, and more — no API calls, instant results.

Natural Language

Talk to it like a friend. "What's the integral of x cubed?" — it understands, translates, and solves. Powered by AI normalization.

Voice Input

Speak your math problem out loud. Because sometimes your hands are busy and your brain needs answers. Coming soon.

The Mission

Make math accessible to everyone. No paywalls, no sign-ups, no friction. Just type, snap, speak, or describe — and get your answer.

Built with for math lovers everywhere.
